Whats the deal with Johnny Depp?

Here is where you discuss everything under the sun, just keep it clean.

Edward Scissorhands was a cute and entertaining movie. I didn't really like him until I saw how good he played Hunter S. Thompson/Duke in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. His looks, mannerisms and voice was practically indentical to Thompson as a young man. The movie was great. And the book was even better....

i personally preferred knowing i was one of the early johnny depp fans, believing he would continue to do greater things, and that i had been on the bandwagon long before all the POTC fans came along and piled on. and when it happened, boy did it happen in a big way...!

This is exactly how I felt about Jim.....

Tim Burton is one of my favorite directors so getting to appreciate Johnny Depp was totally predictable! Great actor, love him!

He was good in A Nightmare on Elm Street (I think that may be his first role)

Johny Depp didn't play in A Nightmare On Elmstreet. :? That was Robert Englund. Unless your talking about Tim Burton. :?

He played the boyfriend. The bed ate him. Hm....wonder if there's a hidden meaning there...

I saw POTC Deadman's Chest on July 16th . I thought he was charming in an otherwise mediocre movie. The first movie was much better. It's worth seeing the movie to see Johnny Depp, but not much else in my opinion.
