On the side, next week in Ontario, there's a new law coming into effect where nobody will be allowed to smoke anywhere! Just your own home and backyard. You can't smoke outside any office buildings, no designated smoking rooms, NOWHERE! Times like these I'm proud to be a Canadian.

It won't be long before the US will do this, so it's great that you're quitting now, when you want to, and now because you have to.

Focus on getting yourself healthy. It will be worth it in the end.

I thought about it, but ultimately I think I'll manage to do it without. I'm kind of surprised...I really don't WANT one right now...I figured I'd be going slightly nuts by day 2, but it's ok.

I suppose there will be the inevitable moments of weakness, but perhaps it's about having a contingency plan for when that happens? What will you do to make that moment more bearable?

You've inspired me. The one thing I can't do. The equation of highly religious woman smoking doesn't compute, does it? I guess smoking is just a slow form of suicide in a neat little package.
