Well, Charlie Kaufman got best original screenplay for ESOTSM! Yeah for that! Kate didn't win although she deserved to, and Lemony won a tech award for make up so I guess that's the closest we'll get to Jim this year. Chris Rock was great too. Loved that Morgan Freeman won as well. Any other thoughts?

I missed all the parts that I was supposed to watch.... I was watching Dead Like Me on the other channel. I didn't really want to watch because it sort of pisses me off. But I saw Kate Winslet announcing some award, and that was good. I don't hold anything against Jamie Foxx anymore, but I still don't really like Clint Eastwood... and his Million Dollar Baby. I'm happy that Charlie Kaufmann got Best Original Screenplay, because he really deserves it. And Go Lemony Snicket for Make-up, I reckon they did a swell job :) When Cate Blanchette.... can't spell, won best supporting actress, over here in Australia, they started boasting about it and everything...... but that's what supposed to happen.... they even put her drama teacher in high school on tv, they interviewed her.... I dislike jingoism. But that's just me today... i'm all cranky...... goodnight everyone

I'm glad that at least Eternal Sunshine and Lemony Snicket got Oscars when Jim doesn't get one....
But I expected that "Der Untergang" would get the Oscar for best foreign movie.
I'm qì, my friend.
