I found this news online today, I do not know if is true ....

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Megan Meier, of 13 years, hung itself in its room in October of 2006 after being a victim of a joke on the part of Lori Drew, of 49 years.

Drew was registered in MySpace causing passing for a boy of 16 years, by name Josh Evans, interested in Meier. According to the accusation, the girl, prone to the depression, the life was removed after its presumed suitor rejected it and he told him that the world would be a better place without her.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

When last year a person online told my that she would like to see me dead person ... I did not want to believe that to exist people thus. I suffer from depression, fortunately I am not an adolescent ..... You take care.

yeah, and sadly I've been in the same place of that girl too. I just saw that, in the real world (OFFLINE), there's a lot to be done and there's more to live for offline too . . . most days. it really sucks to see someone kill themselves like that and how evil people online can be.

That's sad .

When I first started online wich was like six years ago - people were really rude and mean , using words to put me down . Some succeded but I gave myself time to learn the whole online thing . The only thing that sucks is when you really like someone and they play hard to get - :D Or when you get ignored knowing they are invisible on their yahoo messenger - :? When I don't like the person I completely erase them from my list ... :D
Bah hum bug!!!!

We are online, let the bad comments run off our backs, like water on ducks.
Enjoy the good comments and relish in them.
If I don't like the beginning of a comment or pic, I don't read it or I go somewhere else.
The great thing is we have a choice. Just change the channel.
I too felt very dismayed by what one mean person could do, that's why in the end we all need people contact, online is fine but real people is what we all need and basic enjoyable conversation, I think, at times,we are loosing the art of conversing.
