West Side Story (1961)-A Romeo and Juliet story with a twist of 1961. Tony, a former member of one street gang, and Maria (Natalie Wood), the sister of the leader of a rival street gang, fall in love.
You'll cry at the end.
Zenobia (1939) (Oliver Hardy, Billie Burke, Hattie McDaniels)-so funny. Oliver( without Laurel) plays a southern doctor who helps a sick elephant. It is so cute!!
Father is a Bachelor (1950-William Holden) 5 orphans are adopted by a confirmed bachelor-who becomes not so confirmed. Adorable.
Been watching the FREE MOVIES on Video on Demand.

The last good movies I saw were;
the Fountain. Darren Aronofsky is back with what might be the most unique movie in the last ten years. The visuals are realy great, the directing suberbe (?writing?) and the music outstanding. What a trip!
the Departed. Martin Scorsese back at the top of his game with a great performance by Nicholson and DiCaprio, also Walbergh is doin' great in that little part.
C.R.A.Z.Y. This Canadian movie (French spoken) was my favorite movie in 2006, the montage is smooth, the story hart-warming, the characters well acted. Love this movie with all my heart.
Little Miss Sunshine. This cast is a great combination that realy works. I think Jim Carrey would have been also great in the Steve Carell-role.
Perfume, the Story of a Murderer. The Director of 'Heaven' did the impossible, translating smell from the nose to the eye.
the Prestige, Not really that unpredictable, but well-written and quit fascinating. Christopher Nolan has his third realy good movie.
Thumbsucker. That Lou Pucci is outstanding! What a natural talent! This is a 'take my hand and fly away' movie. Liked it.

Rocky Balboa was actually pretty good.... Maybe even superior to the original, if you like that sort of movie.
There are two movies I want to see--but they still haven't came out yet. "Hannibal Rising" & "Live Free or Die Hard."

You have got to see TURNABOUT from 1940. A couple argue so much and want to switch places. A genie grants their wish: they change bodies but not voices. At the end-the genie switches them back, but a mistake is made during the switching and something of hers remains his.
The movie barely made it passed the censors of the time.

I've seen Employee of the Month and Face Off. Face Off is a really good action movie with John Trovolta and Nickolas Cage.

Night At the Museum with Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, and Robin Williams. There are many more actors and so much action. Go see it.
