She was found not guilty for reason of insanity today. I know some people think she should have gotten life in jail but I really do think she is insane so maybe a mental ward will be best for her. I think her husband should get some kind of punishment for getting her pregnant after the Drs told him it would cause her more problems. What do you think?

I agree with the verdict. But what's the next step? Shipping her off to a mental institute isn't going to solve anything either.

If they really want to help her, and make sure this tragedy doesn't happen again, they need to spend the time to find out what happened to her. What made her do it? What kind of illness does she have? what causes this sort of thing? Any kind of similarities with other mental conditions? How can this be prevented in the future?

Most importantly, how can we recognize the early onset of symptoms in other people, and ensure they get the help they need before they do the same thing?

Come on people. Let's spend the bucks and do it right. Or else it's going to happen again to more innocent children.

I agree with you cotton, her husband knew better than to get her pregnate. Maybe he did it on purpose. (Thats just a guess)

When him and Andrea decided they wanted another child the drs told him if she had another one she would start having problems again. So he told his friend "If somebody told you they would give you a free brand new mercedes BUT you would you get the flu for 2 weeks would you take it? Of course!" I can't believe he compared her sickeness to the flu.
