Hot Summer - Have you ever been to Death Valley?

I was so amazed at this place. I wasn't too thrilled to go, but it was February and we wanted to go camping. Most interesting place I'd ever been to. So many different landscapes. Ghost town, resort, the hillsides are a masterpiece of colors. The sunsets are breathtaking. Some really fascinating landmarks and history to observe. Why on earth would anyone live there? Once I learned this story behind it.... well what an interesting place to go. We had snow (very little but it shocked me) I"m so glad we went.
