Which computer brand is the best?

Postby cotton » Wed Oct 06, 2004 4:30 pm

I may have to get a new comp in a few weeks and I was wondering what brand is the best. I have a Gateway right now and I don't want another one. Anybody know of really good brand that isn't a lot of money? I heard Dells are good.

I bought a Dell Dimension computer two weeks ago. I can absolutly recommend a Dell, also because they provide a very good service for their customers. :D

I'm one of those weirdo Mac people. If you can afford it, I'd reccommend it. I've never had a computer crash on me, or caught a virus. I've been working with computers since 1987 and I've only bought three in that time. The only reason I replaced them was because the memory storage wasn't enough. I've had the laptop I own now for 4 years, the one before for 7. I'll never go back to a desktop again. Good stuff.

I recommend a Dell. They are very reliable. I've had my desktop over a year and never had a problem, and I got a laptop about a week ago and it runs wonderfully. Dell also had special deals every week or so. When I bought my laptop, I got a free memory upgrade, a free wireless NIC [Network Interface Card] card, for internet usage on a wireless network if you have one available, and free shipping.

If you need any help on what exactly to pick out and things like that, just drop me a PM and I'll be glad to help you out and get the best for what you pay for. :)
