Bizarrely THE great movie star Donald Sutherland was papped yesterday in Aberdeen having a cheese toastie outside a cafe.....i wasn't there but imagine the excitement in that wee cafe. So it got me wondering, who have YOU met?.....post your story and pics if you like.....

Well. If by famous you mean, known all over the world, the answer is no.
But I have met my favorite Portuguese actor personally.

I probably wouldn't go up to Jim for that very reason....
I did meet the writer of 'Yes Man' Danny Wallace years ago, but then i was interviewing him for JCO..... ...i've seen famous folk but i respect their privacy so i don't go up to them....i've seen Jerry Hall in Primark in Aberdeen....she was doing a play at the theatre here....Bryan Ferry in St Pauls Cathedral.....a Game of Thrones actor on a tube........Brian Cox...i was at a press conference for him (i'm not a journalist btw)

i usually just smile and give a wee nod........i think they appreciate that, i certainly wouldn't ask for a selfie.

Having said that i was in the local DIY store and i somehow had the local newsreader and her husband looking for a certain type of nail for me.....lol....to be fair i didn't realise who she was at the time , we were just both at the same spot looking for nails.... lol.....

i can really understand that. If i were in Hollyweird i'd need a place to escape to, just to get some reality. I'm not surprised that a lot of stars seem to be visiting Canada a lot now. You have a beautiful country, amazing scenery and wildlife, a cracking sense of humour and great manners and Novia Scotia!!....what's not to like?....
