ODE the the Haggis meaning...

Post by Canadian Jayne »

To truly appreciate the meaning you have to see
the dramatics of the crafty appointed carver of the Haggis
To see the interpretation of the
Ode go to

Tells all about the Haggis

I've tasted it,
but I can say I've tried it ,
therefore,I count myself as one who has courage enough.

Isn't there some type of blessing that is said over before the Haggis is eaten..

I've seen in Japan where they cooked a huge meal or a specific large meal that it is blessed by the chef before it's carved/eaten.

I know that Corned Beef with stewed cabbage and black eye peas are used as a good luck meal and should be eaten the first day of the year. I do it and still wish I had it everday..
