my ex fiance's Family hail from the Isle of Wight and they were great pals with Pink Floyd and Level 42....His uncle even played with someone called Snowy White at the Isle of Wight festival....
Apparently Pink Floyd were lovely....they just wanted home cooking and a cosy fire....although Syd Barrett was a bit weird........he used to just let himself into the house and sit and stare................for hours..........lol....
