For those of us allergic to mold sometimes....

Postby Canadian Jayne » Fri May 09, 2008 8:09 pm

it's easier to get strep, I usually try to gargle often espcially when I feel it coming on. I also still go with the wool sock around the neck, works for me, looks atrocious though or you can wear one of those neck warmers.
What about the gingerale and lemon concoction?
If moldy leaves are not picked up around the house, mold sufferers suffer more, especially in wet rainy weather. Wearing gloves in changing weather patterns helps also, easy to pick up stuff, especially strep.

Now I will say what I meant to say before....

I got off track.
Carrypunkrawker, now I know how you feel when you end up taking an exam. I just took one (sort of) had to write an essay. Wow, do I feel worn down ,just from that. I feel so sorry for all students who have to go through it. I never thought if would be soooo difficult.

Old remedy for sores on mouth...

Postby Canadian Jayne » Wed May 14, 2008 3:26 pm

Since I'm allergic to soap, if soap is left on dishes, not rinsed properly that's what happens to my mouth too so I ensure dishes are thoroughly rinsed and there is an old remedy using Alum (can get generic from store) but you have to ask the pharmacist how to use it, you SHOULDN'T SWALLOW THIS STUFF, you have to use with care, it is an astringent, better to go to the doctor and as how to relieve problem though, but I know they charge an arm and a leg in the States just to be told you have the flu, sure hope the folks down there get better health care, since it really isn't a want but a necessity.
