Vitamin c and lots of liquids but stay away from milk cause it will thicken your muccus and make your nose stuffier.

Well, a cold can never be cured. You just have to take steps to make it go away/to get over it.

hot tea helps a bad cough
Zycam drops do the best for a cold
Gommes de propolis help the strep throat virus. Check a place with honey products and they'll have propolis products.

Lots of rest, lots of vitamin C (even vitamin C vitamins help), lots of juices, and water. Over the Counter medicines like Alleve-D and Mucinex-D, Dayquil, Nyquil, Cough and Sore throat syrups (Tylenol Multi-Symptom, Nyquil, Delsym, Benedryl), and all that do make a difference.

Just be careful and know what you're doing after you take one. Don't operate a car or heavy machinery if you take anything especially if it's a sleep-aid or if the box says it will make you drowsy. Check all side effects (which should be written on the box). Read everything before taking!

Flu shots do the trick half the time. It's kind of like a lottery the way they choose the antidotes. I'd get one anyways if you have the money.

Keep your feet covered with socks, slippers, etc.

When mucus gets too thick for you, take a hot shower (but don't burn yourself. Make sure you can handle the heat and just leave it at that.)

Some of you may be pro and con to these tricks, so just do the steps that you believe in what is right.

Also the old trick Grandpa's cough syrup (whiskey or bourbon,lemon, and honey) or something.
