Two and a Half Men

Post by quirky »

I've watched this a ccouple of times and haven't been that into it because it was kind of hackneyed and formulaic.

I don't know if they got a new writer, but last night....it was HYSTERICALLY FUNNY!

Have you seen Molly Ringwad lately? She is still a beautiful redhead--just like you, Quirky!!

And, it does something to my sense of the universe when I see teens from the 80's---MY 80's---be all grown up....does that mean I have to be grown-up too??

I'm blonde.

That red was the result of an interesting situation.

Of course I worked the ER front desk for five years...we had some regular patients.

One of them was this old woman who sported the most unnatural looking black wig...and she'd come in usually without her dentures.

Her son, who I'd place around 50 accompanied her. We'll call him Skeeter, because his real name is similar to that.

He wore a cowboy hat...not that there's anything wrong with that, but this is Illinois, not Texas.

And if I wasn't really really busy....he would come out and dog me.

One day I was in K Mart and he was there with his mom. He started following me around the store....and I'd try to duck away and he kept turning up wherever I was.

Finally, I went to the hair care aisle...figuring....if he shows up HERE, he's really going out of his way to follow me and I'm going to have to say something

I wound up deciding to dye my hair a little bit red. And Skeeter didn't find me in the hair care aisle.

I haven't seen much of Two and a Half Men but I loved Jon Cryer in Pretty In Pink. Duckie is my hero.
