a lot of stars are starting to leave/ignore twitter now, there's so much hate and nonsense on it. Others pay folks to manage it, we've been lucky that up until last year Jim did tweet but i wouldn't be surprised if he leaves, i know i rarely go on, it kinda bores me..

Do yall know when Jim Carrey's gonna start promoting his first new movie "The Bad Batch?" I can't wait to see the first trailers of Jim's new movies. Do yall also know when he's gonna start promoting "True Crimes?"

TBH, I hope he doesn't return to Twitter. From a selfish point of view, I'd LOVE to see him back there. I really do miss his adorable little musings. He is such a unique man and I always looked forward to seeing him on my TL with his cute little smilies.
BUT, for his sake, I don't want him to use it again. Some of the stuff that gets tweeted to him ranges from mildly inappropriate/over familiar to absolutely appallingly vile and abusive. The borderline psychotic bile that was hurled at him by those right wing gun nuts was horrifying. I had a look at his @s and hated knowing that he'd be reading it.
And particularly in the light of what he went through last year, I dread to think of what people would say to him relating to that.
He obviously gets TONS of love on there from the huge numbers of perfectly normal and nice people and that's great but the bad stuff is bad and he's a sensitive soul. He's too sweet to be subjected to the quite frankly disturbed individuals that fester on that site.
