Fluffy's discovered camping........!!....

Postby fluffy » Sat Aug 14, 2010 5:58 pm

and LOVED it!!!!!!!..... :D it poured with rain the whole time but it didn't spoil it ....... :D i loved waking up to the sound of birdsong and there was a magnificant stag complete with huge antlers outside the tent.......just awesome....... :D
plus we saw red squirrels in the wild which are REALLY rare in the UK and one of the rarest animals on the planet at the wildlife park.....the scottish wildcat.....it's even rarer than pandas!!!!! It looks like normal puss but it thinks it's a leopard, it's very dangerous but adorable and we saw the kitten born there 8 weeks ago......... :D

i'll still go abroad and like good hotels but I've got the camping bug now......it's awesome being so close to nature..... :D

so does anyone have any camping tales to share?

It's been a few years since I've been camping, but I always loved it! To break free from everything for a few days is just refreshing!
I'm not sure if I would like camping as much now, or at least not in my state. Its too hot to do anything. I think camping during the winter would be great!

difficult to camp, I like camping on the wood frames rather
than the bare ground, they have the frames for the Teepees
up in Tobermory, Ont., that's pretty good for older folk.
I just hate the dampness that comes up from the ground but they
have cot's now that you can set up.
I always wake up early when I go camping or cottaging.
My parents always trekked north during the summer.
I love seeing the water lilies opening, the smell of food cooking
on the fires, watching the wildlife etc..
Maybe Jim's gone camping some places do not have cell
reception.d

I like camping OK I liked it better when I was younger. I like it in a camper with AC if I am going to camp. I don't sleep 2 good myself if I get hot it makes me ill...
