Anyone seen this one? It's foreign flick... about a fellow with autism and his struggle with bullies.

I still haven't seen it. Although it's a Belgian movie (where I'm from) written and directed by a man I realy like. The movie did very good everywhere in the world, but here the critics were not thát enthousiastic about it. If you want to see a realy good Belgian movie, see 'Loft'. ;)

What is Loft about?

Ben X was good for what it was. I only just saw it this week.

Thanks for the reminder btw, my friend has 'Ben X' on DVD, I will ask him if I can take it home to see it.

What 'Loft' is about? Five friends, all of them married, share a loft to meet their mistresses. One day they find the body of a young woman in the loft. Since there are only five keys to the loft, the five men begin to suspect each other of murder.

A thriller. The director is 'Eric Van Looy', who made 'The Alzheimer Case'. ('The Memory of a Killer' for USA) After he made that movie Tom Cruise wanted to produce the American version right away and Van Looj was offered (back then) a new big movie with Keanu Reeves. He turned it all down to do a very promissing script by Bart De Pauw right here in Belgium, called 'Loft'. Now, that Bart-guy has created and made great television shows, series and comedy that was always ahead of it's time. I'm a big fan of his work and him doing a movie script causing the director saying 'No thanks!' to great Hollywood offers, that's something, imo.

I think it's not yet available in any other country.

That almost reminds me of a Ewan McGregor movie... I forget the name of it. They share an apartment, and they're hiding the loot from a murder... one of 'em weirds out and hides in the attic. :? Oh well.

'Loft' will be on my "to see" list... so thanks. I also want to see 'Mirrors' w/ Kiefer Sutherland.
