First "Horton Hears A Who" PictureUSA Today has posted the first picture from the upcoming CG animation "Horton Hears A Who". A picture of Steve Carell's role as The mayor of Who-ville. Carrey is doing voice for the elephant Horton. No pictures of Horton yet.

I think it looks fantastic so far.

Why does he looks like the Grinch? Isn't a Who like, you know, in that Carrey-Movie?

sometimes.....depends on how the company wants to work it. i think it is easier for them to have some animation shown on a screen so the actor's can see what is going on to get the dialog right.

Well, I saw all the extra's on films like Shrek, Monsters Inc, and so on and so on.
I guess it will happen like this. The animation is ready, backgrounds, moments without speaking, you know. The part were the characters speak they still have to work out till it's perfect, like the moving of the mouth and all. But everything else it is ready. I guess.
