That would the coolest thing for him to be in that movie..... i have read the book and it was freaking amazing... if Jim was in the movie i will die.... just die... after i see it...
Has anyone out ther read the Book?Is it any good?
Your thoughts please!
the church critisizes lots of stuff that goes against them. They are just a bunch of cry-babies in my opinion....
"oh no... a book says something bad about us..... OH MY.... that means that one person out of 6 000 000 000 doesn't like us for sure..... we must make this a huge national crisis and get the worlds attention even though no one will care at the end of the day and the book will sell even more copies because everyone will want to know why we are crying over something as stupid as what one person writes in a book...." Im catholic and the church annoys me greatly some times....
I've read the book. While the main character was a little ... common, the villians were definitely interesting. That would be something to see, Jim as Silas. *giggles* As for the controversy surrounding the book, you can't please everyone.

I think Silas' albinism is incidental to the plot. I don't think they'd need to cast an albino actor in the role. His albinism isn't even an active detail. The thing about Silas is, he doesn't think he's a villain. It seems a pretty complex character to tackle. A tortured zealot. Jayne- Read "Angels and Demons" first. It preceeds the Da Vinci Code and introduces you to the character of Robert Langdon. I actually liked it better and I wish they would make the movie, but I think there would be insurmountable problems trying to film it because it takes place at the Vatican and many Catholics are upset by Brown's novels. I doubt the Holy See would welcome a film crew. They are not fact, they are fiction, but cleverly written...and suspenseful. Complete heresy if you are a hard-line Catholic. "When in doubt, tell the truth."
Mark Twain
Silas' appearance IS incidental to the plot. It makes him look like a villain. I know they don't have to hire an albino actor to play Silas. but I just don't like how contacts would hurt Jim's eyes. can't some other actor be hired so his eyes can be hurt? I hate seeing Jim hurt himself.
yeah, read Angels and Demons. That's a really good book. I loved it. I wouldn't sell that book for the world. . . same with the Da Vinci Code. Peggy
and of course to be truly authentic the crew will have to come to the UK to film.............
Rosslyn Chapel, Roslin, seven miles outside of Edinburgh is an important location................. So Jim, if you ever need a guided tour of Edinburgh/Scotland give me a shout..... .......... i've just had a thought.....lol............they'll probably need extras too.......(not that i have the remotest desire to be on film)........but i could do a good serving wench......lol fluffy x
