I assumed people at movies.com had seen it before they reviewed it.
It's up against King Kong. All these freakin remakes are really making me think Hollywood is totally tapped out of new ideas for movies. Since people can't go to EVERY movie out, words like those on Movies.com are taken into consideration by the public. "When in doubt, tell the truth."

that is true quriky.....but i think the movie will do well against King Kong because they are about 2 weeks apart from each other.......and i do agree that if a critic doesn't like something it makes more people wnat to see it.....its like me saying don't drink the dishwashing soap, but i know someone will.......and i can understand that they critize the movie because it is just another remake and they are also probably comparing it to the original movie.

KC's right. . .alot of people campare the re-make to the originals. . .And tats not a fair judgement. . . because there's a biased present. But Jim robbing a starbucks is PRICELESS! I can't wait to see it reguardless. . . I think critics just don't have a sense of humor, if it doesn't make them cry, then it's a crappy movie as far as their concerned.
Well, it is a natural habit. But when you like the original. . . Then no matter HOW good the re-make was, it's still gonna suck in your opinion. Watch, King Kong is gonna bomb, JUST because people liked the original.
When a re-make changes something that happened in the original. . .people freak out. It's just not fair for the re-make. We ALL judge on that basis. Myself included.
