The passion of love/hate, his devotion/her independance between Jim and Kate was dynamic. I felt --and never questioned--the connection that the plot claimed that they had.
Jennifer is adorable but she played a straight to Jims distraught Bruce. Zero chemistry but she filled the role sweetly. This being said, Bruce Almighty is one of my favorite movies of all time. I just love the plot, the meaning. When seeing the movie for the first time, I sobbed my eyes out during the scene where Bruce discovers how much Grace prayed for him. I have prayed for my ex for so many years for the exact things that were on Bruce's computer.....and then I laughed so hard I thought I was gonna pee my pants during the news anchor scene when Bruce messes up Evans words.....and my fav scene of all......when God tells Bruce to pray after he has been hit by the truck and Bruce asks to see Grace "always, as he sees her now....through Your (God's) eyes".......AWESOME
