Jim nominated for People's Choice Award

On Monday, November 10, Joshua Jackson, Carrie Ann Inaba, Paula Marshall and Jay Mohr announced the nominations for the 35th Annual People's Choice Awards, with Jim Carrey nominated in the 'Funniest Male Star' category. Running against him for the coveted award are Steve Carell and Adam Sandler and the movie categories have been dominated by blockbuster superheroes movies from "The Dark Knight" to "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull".
Jim won People's Choice Award in 2005
As it's 'the People's Choice' awards, a voting line has been opened through pcaVOTE.com. The awards which recognize the mediums of film, music and television and those involved, will be aired live on the CBS Television Network on January 7, 2009 from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and will be hosted by Queen Latifah.
