MTV's BIOrhythm and Jim Carrey Online
01 Dec 1998 JCO, UNITED STATES - Carreyholics can look forward to a new television special produced by MTV airing January 26, 1999. The program is one in a series called "BIOrhythm". This installment is dedicated to the biography and work of Jim Carrey.
Jim Carrey Online was contacted by production staff at MTV with a request to assist in creating the program. The staff at JCO heartily agreed with the idea. JCO US Staff Editor, BCDavis, was given the nod to work with BIOrhythm staff. What transpired included help with research, as well as compiling and sending various materials to MTV. Jim Carrey Online will receive screen credit for its assistance with the project.
As far as the program itself, JCO was told by production staff that it has been given the "okay" by Jim Carrey's staff. Production staff for MTV's BIOrhythm also stated that Jim Carrey Online is the only Jim Carrey fan-created Web site that assisted them. JCO has also received the go-ahead to promote the program and its involvement with the project, as well as use MTV multimedia on its site.
