"Majestic" set reports - March 27
27 Mar 2001 Yesterday's work (Tuesday, 27) on "The Majestic" production was composed of three scenes, as MB let us know.
The first scene of the day was Luke (Jim Carrey) accompanied by Adele (Laurie Holden) and Harry (Martin Landau) walking up the street. This short scene was filmed out of sequence as it chronologically happens in the story after the other two.
Another short scene filmed that day was the dramatically important moment when Harry takes Luke to see the Majestic for the first time. Below you can see a detail of the theater sign with some of its letters missing. The picture was taken by Ferndale Fritz on March 23.

A new scene at Mabel's was also filmed. In the scene Lawson's inhabitants gather around Luke and Harry inside the Diner after the news of his "comeback" had spread across town.
