Jim Carrey and Sonic 3 Rule Kids’ Choice Awards

Jim Carrey has once again proven he’s a fan favorite, landing two big nominations at the 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. Jim is up for Favorite Movie Actor and Favorite Villain for his turn as the mischievous Dr. Robotnik in "Sonic the Hedgehog 3".
Jim’s performance has delighted audiences young and old, earning him his 16th and 17th nominations at the slime-filled show, where he’s already a six-time winner.
The third installment in the popular Sonic franchise has scored a total of five nominations, underscoring its status as a major hit with kids and families alike. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is up for:
- Favorite Villain (Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik)
- Movie Actor (Jim Carrey as Robotnik)
- Favorite Movie (Sonic the Hedgehog 3)
- Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie (Ben Schwartz as Sonic the Hedgehog)
- Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie (Keanu Reeves sa Shadow the Hedgehog)
- Favorite Song From a Movie ("Run it" by Jelly Roll)
The 2025 Kids’ Choice Awards will be hosted by music superstar Tyla and broadcast live on Saturday, June 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Fans can vote for their favorites now across 35 categories on the official Nickelodeon website.
Jim’s performance as Robotnik continues to resonate, cementing his status as one of Hollywood’s most beloved and versatile comedic talents. With the Sonic franchise’s enduring popularity, it’s no surprise the film has dominated the nominations this year.
