A "Grinch" Sequel? Nah...

Rumors of a "Grinch" sequel are now just plain rumors. Cinescape Online reports that director Ron Howard wasn't planning on directing it. "There's not a chance we'd want to do one.", says Howard to Mitchell Fink, NY Daily News gossip columnist. And a good reason too. "We always knew that Universal's marketing would be good. But it's the repeat business that's the pleasant surprise. The movie works because of Jim Carrey's performance, and the time of the year. But another one? No."
