Jim Carrey Going To Host 'Saturday Night Live' This Season

We have interesting news today. According to The Wrap, Jim Carrey is coming back to host SNL for the third time in the new season that will be kicked off on September 27, the 40th edition! Jim hosted the late-night sketch comedy show back in 1996 and most recently in 2011. Click the years to check out more about the shows.
Jim will join the Studio 8H stage with the rest of the great SNL cast early this season to promote the upcoming comedy "Dumb and Dumber To". The movie is set to premiere in theaters on November 14.
The first three hosts of the new season have already been announced. Then it seems like Jim's appearance is coming soon after them.
