From August 1992 to May 1998, the multi award winning satirical television sitcom 'The Larry Sanders Show', dominated US American light comedy TV. Starring stand-up comedian Garry Shandling as the neurotic talk show host Larry Sander, it is notable for featuring real celebrities playing self-parodying versions of themselves, of which Jim Carrey was one.
Final episode (Episode 89 - 31 May 1998):
Jim Carrey was special guest and sang a farewell song of his own, collapsing in Larry's arms as the crowd applauded wildly and appreciatively. That was a great comic moment. During the commercial break Carrey provided a great dramatic moment as well.
