Okay. On October 2, 2003, there was an industry press release saying that Morgan Creek was currently developing "Ace Ventura 3: Return of the Pet Detective." To say JCO was surprised would be an understatement, as Jim Carrey has said he will not do another Ace Ventura.
Now, we know the big question you have is why did we wait until now to report this. The reason: so we could check with Jim Carrey's people to see if he's even going to be in the film. The official answer...
NO. Jim Carrey is NOT attached to this film at all. Morgan Creek is making this film without Jim.
