"Mr. Popper's Penguins" Movie Tie-In Book

The countdown to Jim Carrey's upcoming family comedy "Mr. Popper's Penguins" begins with the release of a Movie Tie-In Edition of the popular book 'Mr. Popper's Penguins' by Richard & Florence Atwater with a set of pictures from the movie. On the cover it features Mr. Popper (Jim Carrey) bending down to point at the penguins. The book was released this week by Brown Books and is available to order at Amazon.com for just $6.99. "Mr. Popper's Penguins" is also featured in the newest issue of 'Time for Kids'. On the very back of this issue, there is a blurb summarizing the movie and a 'mini interview' with Madeline Carroll; who plays Tom Popper's daughter, Janie.
Richard Atwater Biography
Before his death in 1948, Richard Atwater was a newspaper columnist and a professor of Greek. He is best known for writing Mr. Popper's Penguins with his wife, Florence, who finished the novel when he fell ill. Together, they were honored with the 1939 Newbery Honor Award.
