Full "Moon"

The date for the release of Jim Carrey's upcoming film, "Man on the Moon" has been confirmed as December 25, 1999.
Universal indicated to JCO that they wanted to make MOTM their "Christmas movie" - the film with the largest release and billing of the holiday season for the company. This date will also keep the film in the competition of films said to be good contenders for the Academy Awards.
