was waiting for some autographs from some tennis players at the US Open a few days before the tournament had started. A few players were there practicing when I saw funnyman Jim Carrey walked by. He is probably my favorite actor, so when I saw him my jaw nearly hit the floor. I immediately rushed him like a little kid and asked him to take a photo with me. He was sweating and had a few rackets in his hands, so I assume he had just finished playing some tennis. He had no problem taking the picture and signed some autographs for some other fans who were waiting. It was such a nice surprise on a day when I met many tennis players and other celebrities, including the late Bo Diddley.

Having heard all the horrible fan stories about Jim Carrey I didn't know what to expect when he came to town for a tribute to Muhammed Ali. Carrey attended the event and came staight back to his hotel. I was able to meet Carrey after the event and asked him if I could take a picture with him. Carrey was slow to respond, but finally agreed to taking the photo. I could see how people would think he had a bad attitude, although he posed with me, I don't think he was happy about the situation.

was in Louisville, KY for a Muhammad Ali Museum event and Jim Carrey was among the celebs that were in attendance.

We saw a limo arrive at a local hotel and waited to see if anyone was in it. We were in luck because it was Jim Carrey.

He was very nice and more then willing to take photos with my friends and I. I have heard many horror stories since so we must have caught him on a good day.

Jim Carrey Marched on Washington with his girlfriend, then was more then willing to stop and sign and take photos with.,.. Who said Jim Carrey wasnt nice?

Jim Carrey and his family were marching in the Nations Capital to get Green Vaccines, her son has down syndrome and she was trying to educate people about the dangers of vaccines. They were really very nice, but her PR lady kept yelling and Jim actaully yelled back at her to get away.

wel like every human being, he is also moody....so wen he isnt in mood then he doesnt like giving autographs or pics.

i can't blame him......he's paid for fame with his loss of freedom.....he's still a human being, just a man after all......anonimity must be like heaven....i guess sometimes he just wants to be anonomous and demanding fans, chasing you all the time prevents that,..........

I get grumpy and I am not even in the publics eyes...so that is understandable. He doesn't need to justify his grumpyness to me or anyone else for that matter.

I told you about the airport incident right,Fluffs? He not only is grumpy but he also thinks he is better then everybody else. But then again he is better then anybody else so he can get away with it.lol

I have came up with the conclusion that after years of being on this board and other members being here before me that Jim is undeserving of our loyalty as he couldnt care less to even visit or post
its as if we were some kind of disease...

It just makes me sad to know that a whole of US here really admire him and he plays it off like he don't care-

I hope you're day gets better, my week sure couldn't get
any worse.
The best thing about this week for me was just getting out
and listening to a really good band, that can make my day and time.
Weather is getting better, just think it's almost spring!
