squish swish and my scardey-cat.

Post by wylde »

I'm sorry I don't have a picture for this one...

My mother has these sandals that are rather noisy... hence the squish swish. She came over to visit one day and my cat was horrified. First she ran to kitchen and hid in the sink, but soon the squish swish caught up to her, and there my mother stood, staring down at my hunkered furrball peering back up with huge yellow eyes, and ears flattened back against her; but kitty made a break for it, and claws tearing through the carpet, she escaped to the bathroom. No good. The squish swish she had left behind grew louder and louder and was accompanied by the squish swish monster's shrill voice calling to her. This and another thud (my father's footseps) followed until finally, poor puddy was cornered in the bathtub taking the usual stance... all hunkered down, peeking up, ears flat with the look of absolute terror surging through and through... THEN ~ they laughed at her. Poor baby. And she's been officially labeled a Wuss.

I knew you of all people would appreciate my own little fluffster's woes. It's the shoes... drives her mad.

They tickle. I lay down to sleep. I feel the thud on my chest, then the whiskers in the face. :D
