She is not a loud teenager . She keeps it to herself . It's been a month since she said she needed a pshychiatrist . She was thinking about killing someone -

She really isn't a depressed child , but she is starting to act like one -

I wonder if her Pediatric Dr can make an opinion ?

Yes they can help and tell you what is best to do. If she is telling you she needs help then I am not sure if waiting is the best thing to do.

hmmm..........could be a lot of things......has anything happened in her past which may have re-surfaced? is she getting into the Emo/goth scene?..........is school ok?..........any bullying?????
I'd speak to school first........they will have counselors/psychologists available there.........

The pediatrician may ask to speak with her first which would be good cause he will then know how badly she needs help and he will be able to assist you in getting her good dr. Let us know what happens. I will pray for her and you.

hopefully it's just teenage hormones...........i used to be a tortured teen...i'd spend hours listening to depressing music and read jean paul sartre......what an idiot..........lol..........

I used to act like that lammy. I hated this world (I think I still do) but it was all because of bullying. If she's in school, she's probably and most likely being bullied so bad that she wants to kill them to make it stop. If that's the case, I'd talk to the principal or whoever's in charge to get things to change.

It may be hard to get your oldest to talk to you. But she needs to talk to someone. I had no one. I was alone and I was on the verge of beating the bullies up with my fists because I didn't have the words to hit them back with. If the counselors at school don't help, get her help outside.

I never wanted to kill anyone else, but I was on the verge of killing myself. I went into what they call cutting, and everything. I tried to drown myself even. I also thought about going and buying a gun, going back to my room, and just ending it all right in there.

She's a child that suffers from a few disease .

She get's reeally bad alergies . Due to the air . She sneezes a lot , her eyes get read . Heat bothers her , she gets rashes from the heat , from sweat . She's Alergic to Lobster .

So many things she deals with .
