I am leaving to devote my time to the promotion of my new book-available only online.
I have dreamed of having my own book since I was eight. I gave up on that dream at 23 after I realized that I had my progressive genetic handicap-Cerebellar Ataxia. I was overwhelmed with the thought of becoming handicapped.
I began to write a lot of poems in 2002-and they are long poems. As the amount grew I decided to put them in a book.
It took a while to find a publisher that I could afford. In fact, I set my book in a bookshelf for two years because I could not afford to have it printed.
Last June, I found a publisher with a lower priced publishing package, wrote another short story (the book has 31 poems and three short stories), and edited the book. At the end of September, I began to make payments.
The check writing seemed endless-and I ate potatoes a lot for dinner, but in November i finished paying for the book. After formating and more editing the book was released January 27.
Last week, I received my first author's copies, and decided that promotion for the book has got to be my main focus.
So-in closing, I would just like to wish everyone here good heath and best wishes. May all your dreams come true!!

That is so great...
you did it, at least you had a dream and you went for it.
Some of us don't dream any more.
Enjoy, I pray you do well.
I think everyone should know your story.
Come back and visit every so often.
Tell us how you are doing.
I hear great things are happening
with Stem Cell Research.
