I just went there Wednesday. It was so much fun (no pictures). Everyone was so nice, there. My golden retriever loved walking inside the shops with me.
We even went for a hike at Nojoqui Falls County Park, but couldn't finish the walk-I was in my wheelchair, and my younger brother (who has the same genetic handicap that I do-Cerebellar Ataxia) was using a heavy-duty walker. There were about 20 steps about 2/3 of the way up the trail-so that ended it (dangerous).
My dog loved the hike up the hill-pulling to get there.

I LOVE Solvang! Did you check out the emu farm? I'm in Virginia working until mid June, but I'm been fantasizing about getting home, putting my great dane in the car and heading out there. That drive up the coast is amazing! It's good to know I'll be able to take my pup in the shops!

Kelly, my golden retriever, was allowed in the shops because everyone thought she was a service dog-a golden retriever with a person in a wheelchair. She is not a service dog, but she is so well-behaved that she could pass the test. I am checking into making her a service dog. I found a pet store.com that sells the service dog vest.
