i know that this in not an "official" site and the jury is still out as to how often or IF Jim comes to the forum at all BUT i was on the foofighters site (which they do visit periodically) and they had a neat section where people just submit letters to the band or favorite band member. sometimes forum members get replies from them. sometimes the letter is just to say "thanks, you rock." i thought that was pretty cool.
