Jim's nephew Marty was killed in a car crash. Marty was his sister's son.

I think it's very sad that Jim Carrey's nephew Marty got killed in the car crash, my condolences to Jim Carrey and to all of Marty's family. I'd like to give everyone in the Carrey family a very big hug including Jim Carrey, I'm very sorry to hear that and I wish Marty's family all the best as well I too think it's awful that this happened.

Yes that is his picture above with his mom, Jim's sister Rita.

According to articles I've seen, it happened last Thursday June 2nd.

He looks like a handsome kid. Does anyone know how old he was/ were they close? He must be devastated (JC) b/c I know he is generally very close to his family, especially after his parents both passed.
