I am so confused can somebody help me?

If a person is dating somebody are they considered to be single? I always thought that people were single until they got married whether they have a steady date or not but other people think differently. If you fill out an application they ask you if you are married or single. So if you have a steady girlfriend or boyfriend which one do you check off? Like I said before I am really confused.lol

If u are single here, you literally are single, you have no boyfriend or girlfriend! if you are with someone, it's basically classed as In Relationship, so it should say that, rather than married. An option such a 'Taken' would be good, lol!

I think if somebody is dating somone they shouldnt be called Single myself.

I guess I'm a bit old fashioned, but single means no boyfriend. If you are "dating" and sex is involved, than you are considered to be in a relationship. If you are just going out to a movie and smooching I guess you can call it single but playing the field, if you are sleeping with someone for sex and no attachments, then you are single with privileges. $\:D/$

ok, if you're not married, just check single if there's nothing on the application that has options like "dating", "widowed", "in relationship", "I'm a pervert who just likes sex", or "sex with no strings" and so on.

I'm single, almost got married but the fiancee died in a plane crash. so I just check single. I wish he were still alive so I could marry him but tough. . tough shit. later!

yeah i know i didn't tell you JT. sorry about that but it's too sad to talk about. My fiancee died in the 9-11 crash. first plane to crash into the first twin tower. i hate Osama. If I were the Hulk or Superman or something I'd go find Osama and kill him myself. Him and every terrorist who killed the love of my life.
