Has anyone out there really asked WHO IS LEMONY SNICKET??,
where is he really from? what is his inspiration for these books?
Any ideas or guesses????

A little trivia:
Real name: Daniel Handler

- He is the 34 year old alter ego of "Lemony Snicket" and lives in San Francisco.
- Attended the Santa Rosa (CA) High School prom with a friend in the late 1980s.
- Wife Lisa Brown is an illustrator.
- He and his wife had their first child around Halloween, 2003.

How did Lemoney get started? Does he have his own website for

Is Merrill( I hope I spelled it correctly, I hate it when people spell my name wrong) signing "I love you" orrrrr "Bullsh...?"
I'll probably take a look at the book. But I don't think I'll get an answer to my question, it is....
If an author uses a different name eg. Lemony Snicket instead of Daniel Handler" does he or the person have to copywrite that name, go through the legal process or does the publisher assist with such things.
That was my question.

The actual author of the books is Daniel Handler like Tommy said but Lemony Snicket is infact a fictional charcater that belongs to the stories themselves... I think anyway

Yeah cuz "apperantly" (lol I can't even spell!) Lemony Snicket is Count Olaf....at least that's what I hear...but then again I hearalot of weird things (lol)
