They are some of the most fun books I ever read--get em for your kids, read em for fun as adults. The kids are smart as all get out and the adults are ridiculous cartoon buffoons. The dialogue and plot twists are most entertaining and nothing ever wraps up happily. You will absolutely root for the heroes, who are terribly heroic, and hiss the villains, because they are just so villainous!<br><br>As in Potter, a suspension of disbelief and craving for adventure beyond the bounds of imagination is required.<br><br>10 out of 5 stars<br> <p></p><i></i>
