Sequels

Post by Canadian Jayne »

I can understand about the sequel thing
It may feel like your going
Backwards
Like moving back to a place
Where u once lived
It will never be the same
Or as interesting as the
First time u moved in

I understand what you're saying, no doubt. But aside from all that, I think it can be just as challenging as an actor to reprise a role, having the same character and come up with new stuff, even when you gave all you had the first time. Huge challenge right there.

I'm starting to think he's really getting too old now, but somewhere in my heart I'm still hoping for Ace Ventura, the final case. :)

Compared to God
Our spirits are young
But on earth our bodies grow old
I think thats why often we feel young
Yet, know we are not
But the aging thing can affect
Our mindset
Ive always liked the idea
"We r all connected"

I use to take my children to
A church farm in Niagara region
When they were young for holidays
We would do service work (picking peaches etc)
Then go swimming, or enjoy
The area, or enjoy time at
The service orchard

A service worker
Said one time when we arrived
With a whole crew to do work and have fun
"I called you, I knew you'd come"
I said "I didn't get your phone call"
He just said
"I prayed and u came"
He used the best
Communication process that exusts

I think the sprite
Jim was talking about is
"Tinkerbell"
I think we all have a bit of
the Peter Pan Syndrome"
and want to stay young forever
and just hang out with all the kids"

Lol.....i sometimes wonder at our cultural differences and how that affects humour...some nationalities like physical comedy better others are more into observational humour....i guess i'm biased but i still think the Scots are amongst the funniest
