The worst God did was create humans - I mean if he knew how far we'd come to mess up Earth - would he have given us a brain ? Wish we knew how to really use it ... :D

Hopefully we are not at the point of no return and can turn

Post by Canadian Jayne »

it around, I believe Now is the time to get the Solar cars working, now is the time to recycle as much as we can, now is the time to become gas free, not later, because later can be too late.
The big business man doesn't want to loose out and stop filling his pockets, life at this time is not about money it's about preservation of everything. The most important necessity is water, without water there is no life. Good water can be attributed to good or bad health. We have to refocus on what is absolutely necessary to sustain life, then add the perks on when it is viable. Back to basics.

On the real bad weather warnings we could...

Post by Canadian Jayne »

do it in a bomb shelter to ensure people take it seriously.
With the emergency equipment etc.
If people see it and the seriousness, they may take it seriously.
Of course get dressed up and lotsa fun, I love it.
Ever hear of Tastefully tacky..

We could dress in really old fashioned bathing suits...

Post by Canadian Jayne »

that would be different, 1800's style
I think they looked like sailor suits, I think they actually worse old fashioned
nickers. I also think they were made of wool.

Yes I like to stay warm, or we could go modern and wear wet suits if
we are close to the lake while reporting. Don't forget the sun tan oil, the hat, the pop and chips, the umbrella, the UV stuff, & the ipod for music, make a real holiday of it.

Yes I can understand why...

Post by Canadian Jayne »

The background would get the attention instead of the purpose of the message. A distraction. Similar to what Jim did on his Guy in the Background thingy. I don't think I even heard a word of what the newscasters were saying, the background became the foreground.
On " So you think you can Dance, there was a similar thing, one of the cards was on the screen when the announcer was speaking, it wasn't bad because you could only see it for a few seconds, can't remember what it said.

Put a little Cdn/brit slant on it from Canada to England
"hands across the water" " hands across the...."
"weeooo, weeo be a gypsy get around, get your feet up off the
ground live a little, get around" Beatles song isn't it, can't remember
the song name though, anyone remember the song name. Fun song.
Wellies sound great, the farmers in Ontario wear them too, usually left in the back porch by the back door.
