Has anyone seen the directors previous movie "Miss Violence" ? How was it ?

I've seen Miss Violence (M.V.) two weeks ago, and i loved it, it was very well made. Different type of film, disturbing at times with a very sad subject. Lots of long shots, static shots and no music (except the one that's on TV - few seconds). But the real big deal of this film is THE ACTING. The acting performances are so good, so authentic that you can feel it. Especially the main character, so interesting and scary in the same time.

M.V. reminded me of those movies that are made in my country, which are very low budget, and M.V. feels like a movie that was made with just a few bucks. It's not an Oscar worthy script, not at all, cause that films usually are playing with your mind and has some big revelations at the end. It's not the case with this, the mystery is solved when the end credits roll. But, like i said, very well made with great performances.

I hope Alexandros Avranas kept the tone and the structure of M.V. with True Crimes, cause then we'll have a very good film in which Jim will shine .
