The cat is giving me neglect eyes. I don't blame her for resenting the presence of the laptop.

Ha! My cat KNOWS to leave me alone when I'm on the computer. Just give her a 'this is MY internet time' look, she'll get over it, lol. Make sure that you find time for her at other stages of the day though, else she'll get her revenge!
My cat vomited on my bedroom floor while I was away this weekend, little sod!

A week ago my cousin's girlfriend's mom was here....and she said, "What happened to the cat? She's so much nicer than she used to be."

So....maybe SHE'S fallen for me!!!

My cat was a total ....... things I can't say when we got her. If we touched her, she'd hiss and bite.

We treated her well, and 5 years on, she's lovely. She has her crazy moments, but overall, I love to spend time with her.

The cat has changed because of you... not the other way around. You're falling for her, you just don't want to admit it to us!

Remember...this is not MY cat. I can't get too attached or when I possibly eventually acquire a place of my own...I will be sad.

I think it's time to call my cousin, tell him I'm decorating the whole house and ask him what color of lights he wants strung across his headboard.

Purple or pink?

And knowing my cousin, he will pause, consider and say "purple."

Nah, you should keep it a surprise. That's much nicer.

And the cat... yes you'll be sad, but you can still visit, etc. You can get your own cat, or dog. That would be a great companion for you!!!

My aunt is music teacher (in fact she taught the kid that played the Jim role in Dumber and Dumberer). When I was little I took piano lessons from her. But she had to tell my parents to have me go to the other music teacher in town because all I did was talk and talk and talk while she was trying to give me lessons.

When I reached junior high, everyone got to pick an instrument that they wanted to play in the band. I REALLY wanted to play the saxophone because I thought it was so cool...well, the blonde muppet who played saxophone in the muppet band was my idol.

My parents wouldn't let me because there was a charge for the sax. They told me I had to play the free instrument. The free instrument (HELLO! IT's free because no one wants to play it!) was the baritone.

A baritone is a baby tuba. They'll tell you it's not a tuba, but it is a mini tuba. French horns are cooler than baritones...shoot TUBAS are cooler than baritones. I have a picture of me sitting on the floor with the baby tuba and it's dwarfing me. Also, after 15 minutes of playing it you can't feel your lips. No one every writes music for the all important "baritone solo."

So I dropped band.

get a cat................they are less of a tie..........you'll be able to work, but a dog really can't be left on it's own all day.............it's got to poop!
you can do what i do and walk it on a lead and pretend it's a dog.......lol.....
