I need a shot of morphine

Here is where you discuss everything under the sun, just keep it clean.

That's not what I'm talking about...its when the teens drink and then go out and drive or do other crazy stuff...and the adults too. But for me its more about not needing alcohol, it goes straight to my head anyway...I find I don't need it , I like to get high on life whenever possible. I think I'm old enough to have a good time, and create enough euphoria on my own. The same goes for drugs as far as I'm concerned. Let's party! See, we're FUN enough, aren't we?

I don't need a shot of morphine or anything else. As it is, I'm having problems ever since I was out of the hospital for high fever and they pumped me with intravenous antibiotics. I never had physical anxiety and was never high-strung before and now...to quote the song quoted by quirky,
I'm so scared in case I'll fall off my chair
And I'm wondering how I'll get down the stairs

Maybe I shouldn't have named this topic that....but at the time two months ago I was having pain in my hand really bad, and ibuprofin wasn't taking away the nerve pain. I was feeling bad. It was a joke about the effects of caffeine, and that I needed a strong antidote. NOT to be taken too seriously. Anyway....sorry to hear about the anxiety, etc. It is hard to wind down some times, I guess that was what I was saying.

When I get bored, occasionally I venture out and to have a wondertwin moment (thats when you meet someone you don't know, spend a few minutes just finding out who they are- and see what kind affect that interatction has on my life in making me a better person) Sometimes I have a glass or 2 of wine, I realized it was more like a prop or automatic reaction to being in a bar/pub, but it always gaves me headache. So now I just have a Hope Floats (club soda with a cherry)

I've had to think about the same thing recently, because I haven't gone out at night in like 10 years! I'm going to start going out though. I'm single and have no social life right now. But I've made up my mind to change this.

Actually, I take that back. I haven't gone out to a bar to drink in about 8 years, but I go out at night with family, we even played in the snow at night. They brought snow to Monterey at Christmas time. I go out to eat and to the movies at night, or just out to 'play'. But I don't go on dates, I guess that's what I meant.

i feel the sameway as u Michele.....the only way i want to get high or drunk is off of life, by joking and having a good time....but i also like to get high by spinning around really fast in my chair.lol

Michele, the title is now clearer after you explained :)

...yeah, it's good to go out and socialize, even if one is not a people person.

Me too. It's made my nose wider than John Belushi's so I had to quit. I've been clean for 6 months now.
