Will Jim ever win an Oscar?

its ok i shouldnt have gotten so mad either. i was in a bad mood earlier this morning.

he already has, for best actor in the movie Eternal Sunshine thing. and 2 other ones. the real question is will he ever win more than 2 Golden Globe awards. he has won tons of awards.

Firstly- an Oscar win is not necessarily the primary goal of actors...........they do it because they have a very real need and love of the art........yes it would mean recognition for their skills but is not always repesentative of the best acting for that year.............politics are often involved......

Secondly- Many 'Oscar' winners can't compete with Jim's success........he is arguably the most successful player in Hollywood at the moment....And Hollywood is coming to Jim.....he is in the driving seat............but he can choose the passenger side too if he so desires....such is his power of choice..........

Thirdly- Why compare him with other actors anyway...?...........They may rate their abilities on a golden man but they have usually stuck with one , possibly 2 genres at the most............
Jim can do it all............and all up to premier level...........who else comes close...........simply no-one......

Fourthly- He Will win an Oscar .........it's that simple.........he can act until he's practically bed-bound with age...........there's no rush........

He has all the time in the world my friends...............

hahahaha,,,,,,get your facts right....indeed Eternal Sunshine won an oscar but Jim hasnt won any oscar before....

Jim won the oscar for Best Actor that goes to him not the movie. na dthe movie itself won about 3 awards. Jim has also won 2 Golden Globes. i got my facts rightby the way.

no he didnt. if im not mistaken he wasnt even nominated. he didnt go to the oscars this year because he said he knew he wouldnt win.

Conor is correct. Jim has never won an Oscar. We all hope and pray every year that he will get one and he never does. He is often asked about it in interviews and he says he doesn't care but we know he does.
