i agree with you to a certain extent.... pop music is music to commit suicide to...lol!

funeral for a friend, as an example though, have some fantastic songs, which are well written, and new... an example of a band that have thought about what they are doing!!!

Wow. I've been gone for while. :o

Well, here's my list of favorite bands.

Blink182, Green Day, Mushroomhead, Dimmu Borgir, The Cure, Jimmy Eat World, Atreyu, Mindless Self Indulgence, Mudvayne, Poison the Well, Slipknot, Strata.

The list goes on, but that's pretty much my top. I love music. :)

Finger Eleven is good. I saw them in concert back in March. Got to meet them after the show they were very, very nice.

Sugarcult is okay, they have a couple of good songs. Pretty Girl (The Way) is great.

Speaking of concerts, I would really LOVE to see Green Day in concert again. I saw them about two years ago and they were amazing. I really need to catch up with them on their current tour.

I saw Green Day a couple years ago in San Diego.

Great stuff. That was a fun Halloween, but I can't remember it very well.

I can hear nearly everything but my most favorite is rap. My favorite bands are "Blumentopf" and "Alles ist die Sekte". I think nobody of you knows them because they are German bands. I don't hear much American Hip Hop but Eminem and Dr Dre are good.

American Hip-Hop ::shivers:: I was raised around Rock and Roll music, which is probably a big reason why I'm not a fan of American Hip-Hop. Some of it, I will admit I like, but it's very, VERY rare when it happens. I just think it's all poorly written, and the subject manner isn't something people should sing/brag about [Drugs, Killing, Gang Banging]. I haven't heard any German Hip-Hop, of course, but as far as American Hip-Hop goes. I can live without it.

German Hip-Hop is very different. But I don't like it, either. The only Hip-Hop band I like is "Die Fantastischen Vier", a classic.
I'm more into "hand-made" music!
