i agree with you to a certain extent.... pop music is music to commit suicide to...lol!
funeral for a friend, as an example though, have some fantastic songs, which are well written, and new... an example of a band that have thought about what they are doing!!!

Finger Eleven is good. I saw them in concert back in March. Got to meet them after the show they were very, very nice.thecablegal wrote:Anyone heard of 'Finger Eleven'??? They are really good... and 'Sugarcult'
Sugarcult is okay, they have a couple of good songs. Pretty Girl (The Way) is great.

That's cool that you saw them on Halloween! I would love to go to a show on Halloween.clemato wrote:I saw Green Day a couple years ago in San Diego.
Great stuff. That was a fun Halloween, but I can't remember it very well.

American Hip-Hop ::shivers:: I was raised around Rock and Roll music, which is probably a big reason why I'm not a fan of American Hip-Hop. Some of it, I will admit I like, but it's very, VERY rare when it happens. I just think it's all poorly written, and the subject manner isn't something people should sing/brag about [Drugs, Killing, Gang Banging]. I haven't heard any German Hip-Hop, of course, but as far as American Hip-Hop goes. I can live without it.

German Hip-Hop is very different. But I don't like it, either. The only Hip-Hop band I like is "Die Fantastischen Vier", a classic.
I'm more into "hand-made" music!
