Strike while the iron is hot. That's my advice to Jim and his agent.

Had to think about him yesterday ... Saw 'The Descendants'. I know I've said it before a couple of times, but Jim in an Alexander Payne (About Schmidt, Nebraska, Sideways) movie would be absolutely fantastic, no doubt. That or a Jason Reitman (Up in the Air, Juno, Labor Day, Thank You for Smoking) movie. For actors, those are dream-projects, no doubt.

Or both. :D

Next on Jim's list should still be "Ricky Stanicky" with Steve Oedekerk.

The producer Bushell tweeted a little about the status a few weeks ago. They are still in casting process, but when they get a go it can happen fast.

"it's just a complicated process. Getting movies made can be a very slow and strange process."

There's no doubt the succes of Dumb and Dumber 2 will have some effect on the "Go!" for his next project. I just wonder what effect it will be. :) Something very serious again? Something funny while the iron is hot?

For me this keeps alive the hope that someday we'll get :ace: 3 in theatres.

No one has asked because the most important thing to focus on right now is the upcoming movie.
He has not mention what he will do next because he may not even know himself.

I wonder if Jim Carrey will ever do a voice in The Simpsons. I Always thought that would have happened by now. He was mentioned in 3 episodes. Remember how Lisa and her future husband went to the theatres where "40 Classics with Jim Carrey" were playing? There's love for Jim, no doubt. Jim was supposed to voice a character one time, (the singing railroad hobo), but couldn't make it and was replaced. So ... I hope he'll be around one more time, for real now.

I would like to see Dr. Carrey in another dramatic role.
He's hardly ever recognized for special awards. I believe he deserves some special awards for example: The Cecil B. DeMille Award from the Golden Globes Awards which, I believe he deserves.

Sincerely,

Terry Marvin (Dallas, Texas)
