great band. first heard them at work when someone brought in a promo cd of their latest album.

here's something for anyone a fan of country. been hearing this at work for about 2 or 3 days straight.

I heard this song on my radio a few days ago but I couldn't figure out the words so I looked them up on youtube and now I am shocked



This is a true story of a 19 year old kid named Robert Hawkins. He was abused and neglected by his dad. He went on a killing spree killing 9 people including himself :(

I was looking up the "Girl Watcher" song
listened to it then saw the

"Green Berret" song

it reminded me of how these guys come home from the war
are appreciated for a short time then

some of them even end up homeless

something more needs to be done
Why is there rarely a fund raising for the soldier that
survive and struggle due to the shell shock they get
My grandmother's brother had shell shock
I think this is a problem that has been around for a long time

this reminds me of my Rockabilly phase in the 80's when i was 16...........i was all starched petticoats, ponytail and ankle socks and i'd try to Jive.........lol.......
